the history
The long and low building of the “barchesse” of Villa Mugna, which once housed the service quarters when the palace was inhabited by the Mugna family, has been owned by the municipality since the entire area was purchased to relocate public service activities.
About ten years ago, thanks to significant restoration work, it was possible to limit the severe state of decay of the barchesse. The building was indeed secured and equipped with the necessary systems to safeguard its structure.
Then, partly due to the stability pact and partly due to a lack of willpower, the barchesse remained unfinished, and only now, through a public notice, does something seem to be moving.
