Colli Berici Wine Route

The Wine Route is a non-profit tourist association that covers the Colli Berici hilly area, south of Vicenza. In these low limestone hills, where viticulture has origins as ancient as human presence and where the unique climate also allows for olive cultivation, an itinerary unfolds rich in architectural and artistic landmarks, which are highly interesting for lovers of Venetian villas.

Wine routes are itineraries of landscape, environmental, cultural, and recreational interest, signposted and guided along which there are wineries open to the public and other businesses and venues offering gastronomy and typical local products.
They represent the tool through which the tourist offer of certain Venetian areas is promoted, appreciated for their productions, especially wine, but also other typical products with PDO and PGI designations. They also provide an opportunity for the economic and cultural promotion and development of the territory, in harmony with the protection of its environmental resources and rural values.
